What We Believe

We believe there is one Creator who is God, in three persons—The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ—the Son—showed us his love by dying for our sins on the cross. We believe he conquered death by rising again on the third day. By believing in him, all are forgiven and justified, by grace, and indwelled by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God-breathed—all sixty-six books—and is the supreme, written authority by which we—that is, all believers—live our lives, and by which this church functions.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."
