We're Happy to Have You

Sunday Worship

Hebrews 10:24, 25 "And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and do good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

  1. First thing on Sunday morning, we gather as body to sing and worship Jesus; led by Pastor Tom Stolberg and our dedicated Worship Arts team.
  2. Following this time of music and praise, Pastor Scott Sundin brings the Word of God to us in a way that's easy to understand, without taking away from the complexity and gravity of Scripture.
  3. After the service is a brief time of fellowship and then we break up into Bible Studies to take a closer look at Scripture.

Services begin every Sunday at 9:30 am

Bible Study

After the service and fellowship time, stay for one of our Bible Studies. Just choose the one that suits you best, and stay tuned to this page for updates on what each group is studying, as the focus can change from time to time. The current study groups are:

  • Start Here: Pastor Tom Stolberg will take you through our doctrine and share the heart of our congregation with you.
  • Adult-ish: A topical study of biblical application for the millennial landscape
  • Agape: Take a deep dive in scripture, as we walk through the book of Colossians, taking away new truths every week.
  • Grace: Every one is welcome to this study of Ephesians - God’s purpose statement for His Church - led by Pastor Scott Sundin.
  • Fidelis: Fellowship, prayer and in-depth Bible study, also in the book of Ephesians. Lead by Dennis Myers.
  • YouthRefuel A.M.: Pastor Jim Scott (P.J.) leads our Jr. High and High School youth through the Bible, emboldening them against unrighteousness, during one of the most impressionable times of their lives.

Weekly Programs

Stay connected with Word of Grace and the community of Raytown by attending weekly Bible studies, and keep your kids in the word with our youth and Awana programs, too!

  • Wednesdays @ 6:25pm -- Awana Clubs: Students Age 3 - 6th grade meet to play games, memorize scripture, and apply the Word to their lives through a fast paced and interactive club much like the scouts, but where the focus is the Bible and their relationship with Christ.
  • Sundays @ 6pm -- YouthRefuel P.M.: Again, led by Pastor Jim "P.J." Scott,  Jr. High and High School kids come together to worship before splitting up into smaller groups to delve into God's Word. Then comes Game Time and each week brings a game more unique and challenging than the last.
